10/30/36 - The former WJAY begins broadcasting with new call letters from studios adjoining WHK-AM in the Terminal  Tower. It's power is listed at 500 watts. 1942 - WCLE begins broadcasting at 610 kilocycles and on 491.5 meters. 1945 - WCLE is moved to Akron, where its call letters are changed to WHKK-AM.
